Beidler keeps getting bigger and better; IR keeps losing

Just when you thought Kelly Beidler had topped out in the Icelandic Express League he goes and posts an even more impressive performance.

Beidler scored 30 and hauled in 21 rebounds but IR fell to Stjarnan 89-76 on Sunday. The loss drops IR to 1-7 on the season.

Beidler also blocked 7 shots had 5 steals and 3 assists in the defeat. He was 11-for-22 from the field and 7-of-10 from the foul line.

Marvin Valdimarsson had 30 points and 10 rebounds for the victors.

After 8 rounds of action in the Express League, Beidler is now 4th in scoring (23.9), 3rd in rebounds (12.3) and blocks (2.0) and 10th in steals (2.3). Not bad for the rookie.

He is making 58% of his 2 point attempts and 29% from the international 3-point line. He is just a tick below 70% from the charity stripe.
