Cajou officially back with the Mount

Mt. St. Mary's announced earlier today that senior guard Jean Cajou has returned to the basketball team. Cajou, the NEC Tournament MVP during his freshman year had missed the first 13 games of this season but may see action when the Mount plays at Vermont later this evening.

Cajou was a collegeinsider.com Defensive All-American last season and needs just 37 points to reach 1000 in his Mount career.

The Mount has lost six straight games and the return of Cajou should help solidify the team as it heads into the conference season. It will be interesting to see how the coaching staff utilizes him in the next few weeks as he works himself back into game shape.

Glad to have you back Jean, you've been missed.

  2. We will still probably lose, but as long as Tom Fahey is not a ref, we have a chance. If any of you remember, we should have won last year, and at the end of the game Tom Fahey hauled ass out of the arena because he knew he was horrible and the true reason we lost- other than Marqus Blakely. Vermont has been surprisingly good this year. They really do not have anything but a bunch of Robert Burke prototypes like Evan Fjeld. A bunch of big white goofy dork guys that somehow win. There is no way I will pay to watch this, listen on radio, while watching my bowl games I guess.
