Strong words from King Rice

“I think people are scared because Mount could catch us but they have not won four games in a row the whole season.”

“And people think they’re going to do it the last four games of the year when their coach just got put on leave? Not going to happen.’’

Good catch Onions. Maybe the guy is back on the silly juice.

  1. Just like the damn UNC stuck up conceited prick he is. I'd like to smack across the mouth the arrogant SOB. Between him and the Hurleys it would be a difficult decision for me to drill into oblivion. I sure hope that motivates the Mount.

  2. A thug, is a thug, is thug.....always will be. The dude hasn't accomplished really anything coaching to even think of words like that. Actually, he was not all that great of a player at UNC either. Grrrr I cannot stand UNC, Duke, Kentucky, etc.....

  3. I hope everyone on the team saw this statement. Great extra shot of motivation!

  4. Heartbreaker of a game wasn't it? How did Rice know? Somethin' funny going on. Oh geeze I hope the 'script' style of play hasn't invaded and infiltrated small school Div 1 basketball too? If so, is there anything legit anymore in sports, other than the players athleticism? I guess Mount needed more than motivation, I hope it wasn't more money than Monmouth, then again maybe they received more by losing than winning. Just kidding, for now, that is. Oh the mass erosion of American sports.

  5. Why is it that NEC coaches with the last name of Rice have such issues with the Mount anyway? I still remember before the last RMU semifinal game we lost and RMU's coach Mr. Rat Rice along with RMU players called our Mount team a bunch of 'roaches' that they just cant get rid of. It was in the Pittsburgh paper. Any of you remember that? I was at RMU for the game and took the paper down and showed the players. They passed it around and laughed. Beidler looked evilly over at Velton El Toro Jones with a heckuva stare glare after reading it. I sure thought he was going over to smack him, lol. I miss Kelz the Man Beidler so much lol. He was such the quintessential Mr. Stud, Mr. knockout king wasnt he? lol

  7. Do any of you even remember the names RMU was calling us? Y'all seem to be in depth about the administrative part of the team, but do you follow all of the things that go on behind the scenes. Especially regarding the most important part- the actual guys on the team.
