Christian's first Offer

According to VirginiaPreps.com, new Mount basketball coach Jamion Christian extended a scholarship offer to 2013 recruit Malique Trent.

Trent a 6-2 guard averaged nearly 20 points a game, 5 rebounds and 3 assists for Norcom High in the Tidewater Area last season. He plays for Wave Basketball on the AAU Circuit.

He was chosen first team All-Eastern District while leading Norcom in 3-point shooting. He scored 18 points in Norcom's win over Norview for the Eastern District Championship.

Trent also holds an offer from Appalachian State.

  2. If the Mount could reel this guy in, it would be a very pleasant surprise. Trent is a VCU caliber player. Maybe Shaka will do Jamion a favor and let him have him.
