The Mount has filled its 2009/2010 roster with the addition of 6-foot 9-inch forward Kristijan Krajina from Croatia. Krajina prepped in Virginia at the Blue Ridge School near Charlottesville and is a big man with touch. He injured his ACL in January and is still on the mend. But he provides the Mount with some size and athleticism and good range for a forward of his size.
The spot came available when John Schwarz departed school after the spring semester.
Before deciding on the Mount, Krajina had caught the eye of Northwestern, Notre Dame, TCU, LaSalle, Northeastern, William and Mary and Old Dominion.

Well we never did get to see Schwarz play. The new recruit is a good player, not quite the Whitaker I was dreaming about, but better size than the Cribbs that never came!
