A Daly Dose Of Hoops: 32 In 32: Northeast Conference
No respect for the Mounties here. After winning 9 of last 10, and 11 of last 13 Daily Dose of Hoops picked the Mount 6th. Obviously, they weren't paying attention. Obvious, by the fact they listed Shivaughn as a point guard.
NEC will be deep again. But sixth would be severe disappointment.

Sallah commits to Mount
Mo Sallah, a 6-8 forward from Broadfording Christian Academy in Hagerstown, has pledged his future to Mt. St. Mary's. Sallah led BCA in scoring a season ago averaging 18.4 per night. In addition, he grabbed 14 rebounds per night, and blocked better than 3 shots per contest.
The Lions lost in the championship game of the Mason Dixon Christian Conference. Sallah had 20 points in the championship game. He was named to the MDCC All-Star team, and the WHAG-TV 25 Fab Five team.
Sallah is spending a post-graduate year at Fishburne Military Academy in Waynesboro Virginia and will join the Mount in 2014-15.
Sallah will spend most of his time in the low block for the Mount. At 6-8 and athletic he should fit in well with the other 4 who already committed as part of next year's class. The Mount has landed point guard Junior Robinson, and front line players Chris Manning, Chuck Wray, Troy Henderson and now Sallah. The Mount still has one scholarship left, should it choose to use it.
Sallah and Wray will be teammates at Fishburne this season.

North Carolina forward Henderson to join Mountaineers
Troy Henderson a 6-foot 8-inch forward out of Charlotte, North Carolina pledged his commitment to Mt. St. Mary's this morning. The 2014 product from Gaston Day becomes the fourth member of that 2014 class. He joins point guard Junior Robinson, and forwards Chuck Wray and Chris Manning. All are expected to sign a letter of intent during the November signing period.
Henderson narrowed his final choice to the Mount and Campbell, after previously considering North Carolina-Asheville. He also previously had offers from Presbyterian and Youngstown State.
Henderson averaged 6 points a game during his junior year. He length and athletic ability will provide defensive cover at the back of the Mount defense. He's an athletic player whose best play is in front of him.
This is a great pickup for the Mount as Jamion Christian and his staff continue to accumulate talent to compete in the Northeast Conference for years to come.
Here is a story on Henderson from Phenom Hoop Report
