Kayel Locke has Mount offer

According to this article about the upcoming bmorehoops.com All-Star event this weekend, the 6-5 Kayel Locke has an offer from the Mount and a handful of others. Per Maxpreps.com, the McDonough star averaged 20 points and 12 rebounds per game as a junior. Locke has played well on the AAU circuit this summer and has gotten lots of attention from Towson and UNC-Greensboro. He is definitely thinking about staying close to home though. As an undersized forward his frame would fit extremely well in the NEC.

Raffensperger worked professionally as a CPA for many years, but the chronic inflammatory immune disease Sarcoidosis made it impossible to continue that in a manner he found acceptable. Since then, he has spent more time around the Mount St. Mary's basketball program and values Coach Dan Englestad, his staff, and the players' impact on him. The blog was much more active, but the advent of Twitter (follow @themountfanblog) has made writing a little less important. But he hopes that the balance swings back in favor of more traditional content soon.
