Yeah, and I am soon about to ride up to Savannah in a few hours to finally see my beloved #1 in the country Mountaineers tomorrow!!!!! Wooo hoo, what a great team!! Never seen a better mid major yet!
Turnovers oft times involve a sender and a receiver. Josh brings the ball down the court with confidence and has good ball handling skills, not to mention the highest 3pt% and APG on the team. Chad has talent and is a delight to watch. I look forward to watching the continuous improvement as the season goes on.
There isn't a lot of talent on this team. With the exception of Norfleet and possibly Parker, everyone is below average NEC talent.
The jury is still out on Burke but it isn't looking good. He has had some tough breaks but this team doesn't play hard for him. How do you finish the first half against PSU down by 3 and then lose by 30? I want him to do wekk but I'm just not sure what he brings to the table.
I think the problem is that this team is simply not very good. I'm not worried about this lost season, I'm worried about where we're headed in the years to come. Burke has done nothing to make me confident in him.
Does anyone know if Kelvin Parker was given a scholarship?
ReplyDeleteFirst 7 in the rotation: Holley, Norfleet, Parker, Barber, Thompson, Krajina, Wells.
ReplyDeleteTonight's game 6PM and no radio or TV that I can find.
ReplyDeleteThe game is tomorrow night at 6, not tonight.

ReplyDeleteplay Holley; sit Castellanos = win game
ReplyDeleteMust agree with "k". Castellanos can't shoot, can't penetrate and is a turnover machine.
ReplyDeleteShouldn't be so tough on MSM. Remember Mount underdog by 15 at SSU.
ReplyDeleteThey are just about getting a reasonable number of players available to suit up.
They are getting better, and I think they will do some unexpected damage in the NEC.

ReplyDeleteTurnovers involve a receiver? OK, I forgot to add Josh can't pass either! Watch the games.
ReplyDeleteHe is a nice guy, I love him, he is tough and nothing I say is personal.
Sit him, play Holley, we win that game.
merry christmas. god bless.
ReplyDelete...and i've watched every game, attended 6 in person. but thanks for the suggestion!

Wagner just beat Pitt

ReplyDeleteYou Burke excuse makers are hilarious.
ReplyDeleteCastellanos has a shooting percentage in the 30s and has a negative assist to turnover ratio. You cannot have that in Division 1 basketball.
Julian Norfleet is a homeless man's Chris Vann. Gets hot occassionally but he is what he is, a "sharpshooter" who shoots in the low 30 percents.
Anyone know why there haven't been many posts on this site lately?
