Awwww Raff, you better capitalize that credit you gave me, lol. It gets awful lonely sometimes way down here in the redneck deep south...so sometimes I need some recognition haha. Actually in Valdosta is not that primitive at least in this city...now it would be if they didnt have Valdosta St Univ. and Moody AFB. I tell ya, if you only knew how uncivilized it is in the outback once you get outside of town. It isnt like up north where you go 5-10 miles to the next town. Once you leave Valdosta, you are lucky to see even a village sometimes within 20-30 miles lol. There is so so much more land down here than up there I tell ya. This is bigtime football country here. I don't know if you were aware but Valdosta once won a piece on ESPN that gave it the name of TitleTown or Winnersville due to the multitude of football championship both Valdosta and Lowndes High have won. I would bet that one of the last place football teams in this conference down here would beat a Maryland state playoff Champion, the talent is that good down here. Have any of you ever been to Valdosta?
Never. Did just read Mike Leach's book - Swing your Sword. Talks about his time at Valdosta - and how much he liked it. Mentions Winnersville. Good read.
