Goode a Cousy Nominee

Junior guard Jeremy Goode is one of 31 nominees for the Bob Cousy award presented by the Naismith Hall of Fame. The award is presented to the top point guard each season, in all three divisions of competition.

Goode is looking to lead Mt. St. Mary's back to the NCAA tournament after the Mounties got there a year ago by winning three times in the NEC tournament.

Goode is the only player from the NEC nominated for the award.

Fan voting for the award will open on February 1, 2009 for the finalists.

Texas' D.J. Augustin was last year's recipient.
