If We had a College Football Playoff - Quarterfinal Matchups

Alabama vs Nebraska @ Orlando Florida - site of the Capital One Bowl - Thursday, January 7
The Crimson Tide taking on one of the hottest teams of the tournament in Orlando. The Nebraska defense has been fierce all season long, but it has been the offense that has really taken off in the tournament. A week after upsetting Boise, the Huskers try to knock off the Tide in this matchup of marquee programs.

Ohio State vs TCU @ Pasadena California - site of Rose Bowl - Friday, January 8
TCU would be crowned Big 10 champs with this win, wouldn't they? If they knock off the Buckeyes they'll have beaten Wisconsin, Penn State and Ohio State on their way to the Final Four. Ohio State has relied on its defense to defeat Oregon, Clemson and Michigan State the past three weeks and now must try to match efforts with a TCU unit that has been staunch all season.

Texas vs West Virginia @ Glendale Arizona - site of Fiesta Bowl - Saturday, January 9
The Mountaineers are probably the biggest surprise to be here. But with their inclusion, the Big East isn't joining the PAC-10 as a conference without a team in the Quarterfinals. The Longhorns are the heavy favorite in their first game outside of the Lone Star State in the tournament.

Virginia Tech vs Florida @ Miami Florida - site of the Orange Bowl - Saturday, January 9
The Hokies might be the type of team that gives Tim Tebow and the Gators trouble in this tournament. After two weeks of games in the Tampa area, the Gators head south to play their fourth game in state.
