Good News out of Emmitsburg

The 2nd half of the season officially starts on Saturday at Pittsburgh for the Mount. The first semester is over and there is reason for optimism again.

The big news is that in an NCAA appeal Raven Barber will be in uniform for the Mount. The freshman out of Paul XI had originally been declared ineligible this year and hadn't been practicing with the team. But word was that the strong interior presence was on the floor for Thursday's practice.

The other expected news was that Will Holland should be close to returning. The knee injury that has been bothering the senior is apparently feeling better and he should get his first action since the American game this weekend. He has been dressed for the last three games, but hasn't been back on the floor.

Also, Jacolby Wells who redshirted last season and was ineligible for the first semester should likely be eligible this weekend once all the grades are finalized.
