NCAAB - Game #24 - Connecticut vs Wichita State - Maui Invitational

If Wichita State is left on the bubble on Selection Sunday - it might very well look back on this early morning Maui game as a reason why.

The Shockers let a nine-point second half lead slip away as the Huskies rallied to advance to the semifinals.

Kemba Walker was clearly the difference. He was hampered by foul trouble, but he put up one of those performances that the natives will remember for a long time. He finished with 31 points, 29 after the intermission and the Shockers simply didn't have an answer for him in the 83-79 UCONN win.

I can't recall an individual performance that was quite as dominating as Walker's was. He simply carried the Huskies to the semifinal.

For the Shockers, they'll get the loser of Kentucky and Oklahoma tomorrow in Maui and must again try to impress the selection committee.
