Kearse scores 20 in UBA game

Former Mt. St. Mary's forward Mychal Kearse, a veteran of overseas play, scored 28 points for the Dallas Star of the Universal Basketball Association, in a game against Central Texas last month.

Kearse also grabbed 8 rebounds and handed out 7 assists in the game. He was 8 of 17 from the field and made all three of his free throw attempts.

I'm not sure I fully understand the concept of the UBA, because it looks like Dallas doesn't have another scheduled game until December 31. Most of the league's action occurs after that date. However there are several games between now and then.

Either way we'll try to keep an eye on Kearse and all former Mountaineers as they make their way through the professional ranks.

  1. Wow Raff, I am impressed with your ability to find out these things for us. Can you do me a favor and find out what the wonderful Dallas Green has been up to also? Maybe someone whipped him and put him in the hospital or something, lol. Someone needs to knock him and Karon out.
