Penafiel gets win

Former Mt. St. Mary's guard Jeremy Goode scored 13 points as Penafiel won a low-scoring 52-50 win over Lusitania in a Portuguese professional basketball game over the weekend.

Rui Mota led the victors with 15 points.

Goode also contributed 3 steals and 3 assists for 2-3 Penafiel.

Mohammed Comara led Lusitania, which also advanced to Portugal's top division this season, with 16 points.

Goode continues to lead the LPB with 4.2 steals per game and is tenth in scoring (tops on Penafiel) with 17.4 per outing.
