Goode leads Penafiel with 17 - not enough against league leaders

Former Mt. St. Mary's point guard Jeremy Goode in his first season overseas scored 17 points in his Portuguese team Penafiel 77-55 loss to league leading Porto Ferpinta.

Goode was 6-for-11 from the field and 4-of-6 from the line, knocking down his only three-point attempt. He also grabbed four rebounds, had two steals and dished out three assists. He leads the LPB with 3.8 steals per contest.

Porto Ferpinta moved to 6-0 with the win, while Penafiel fell to 2-4.

American Greg Stempin (Toledo) led the victors with 24 points and 10 rebounds.
