NCAAB - Game#10 - Navy @ Buffalo

It might be a long year in Annapolis.

Buffalo, which isn't expected to win 10 games, absolutely throttled the Midshipmen on Saturday afternoon in Buffalo in the season opener for the Bulls. The final ended up 88-46.

Navy, playing for the second time, was blown away early. Buffalo led 11-2 early and 37-12 later in the first half. The halftime score was 42-16 and Navy got no closer than 23 in the second half.

You might be able to question the travel schedule for the Midshipmen. They played a late game in Texas on Monday night, but that must have only been part of it. Greg Brown scored 11 points in just 12 minutes of play.

There was no video feed that I could find so I tried to follow along with Buffalo's live stats feature. But it got boring pretty quickly. Navy had 25 turnovers and was 4-for-21 from behind the arc. The offense looked bad against Texas earlier in the week but that was against Texas - a top notch premier defensive team. But this was Buffalo that ranked 232rd in the nation in defensive efficiency last season.

Navy visits the Knott Arena on Monday November 29th.
