NCAAB - Game#11 - Delaware at Ohio

I wasn't really paying attention to this one. The Mount had my attention. But it seemed like everytime I checked the score it was Delaware in the lead or fairly close and then all of a sudden it was all Bobcats.

A lot of folks are expecting a lot from the Bobcats this year after they went through the MAC Tournament and bounced Georgetown in the NCAA first round last year. They opened with a convincing 88-69 win by piling on 53 points in the 2nd half.

OU shot 57% after the break and was led by the solid all-around performance of DJ Cooper. The 5-11 sophomore guard followed up his MAC freshman of the year campaign with a 25 point, 7 rebound, 5 assist, 3 steal effort in the opener.  That's a good week for some kids.

Let's keep our eyes on this Bobcat team, they've got three games with traditionally strong mid-majors all at home in the next several weeks which should give us a further indication if they are going to continue to move forward. They play Oakland, Texas A&M - Corpus Christi and Valparaiso all tough but winnable games. They've captured our attention for now.
