Danaher links LOI

The first real true recruit of the Robert Burke era is signed and sealed the school announced late Thursday.

Taylor Danaher out of Fredericksburg Christrian School holds that honor and will become a Mountaineer in the fall of 2011. The 6-10 200 pound center averaged 24 points 14 rebounds and 6 blocks per game with FCS last season. He was named first team all-tournament at Home School Sports Network Championships in March. He played his AAU ball with the Hoop Booth Organization.

From the Mountathletics.com website.....

"We are very excited to have Taylor joining our program," said Burke.  "His size, athleticism and skill set fits very well with our current roster.  We have high expectations for Taylor both on and off the court."
Burke did sign three players after taking over for Milan Brown last spring. Guards Josh Castellanos and Julian Norfleet and forward Evan Cleveland. All three may make immediate contributions when the season opens tomorrow in Dayton. However, this is Burke and his staff's first full recruiting class.

Thanks to commenter Richard for the tip.
